I've sent this to an obnoxious Harley Friend. He thinks its real and is torn up. I told him there is a recall of all Harleys for fitting of new BMW/Harley Emblem. Kinda like the AMF thing.

Got me good too. I told everyone, faxed article to HD friends etc. At least I was able to quickly recover and tell them the joke was on them after I found out it was a joke by checking the stock market, LOL, That was great and it would have been soo much fun to harrass them if it was true.

As I read the article, I thought about how I was going to go out to the garage and tell my Electra Glide and my R1100RT that they were now brothers. as my wife peered over my shoulder she said its a April Fool joke. My friends at the Harley plant where a bit shocked! They where the ones who sent it to me originally.

I sent it to 2 Harley riders at work. One said "funny", and the other said "amazing, imagine the cultural clash." To him I responded: "only for one day, and I have a bridge in NY for sale if you are interested." Now he gets it.

I work in a UAW shop. I just printed a bunch of copies and spread them around the break room and on the plant floor.
