No matter what bike it is, it is a terrible way for a bike to die.

I had a Suzuki 650 that sat in a friend's basement for a long time. I bought it from him for 200 bucks, fixed it up, rode it and then gave it back to him during my divorce and it sat there for another 3 years.

He finally brought it up to his brother-in-law in Maine to fix it up again. My friend is going to putter around with it up there when he is on vacation. That bike was a real buzzie bike. My hands went numb after 10 miles.

Hey all; Almost certainly an Yamaha 650 special. (At least at one time.) How many others on this thread saw the picture and, being the eternal optimists that we are, thought; "Hey, I'll bet I could have that running in NO time!" I did for about 30 seconds until I realized that I have too many other "hanger queens" already. One more and me wife has promised me that she'd have me neutered!! Via con Dios y'all. Dutch
