Hi folks! hope everyone well.I have a ?I have a stock 1995R100RT classic.I would like to take off that butt ugly top box.But momma has to have a back rest.Could I put a Corbin rest on the stock seat.Has anyone done it.2Just had 7500 service done at Toursport in Greenville,SC..Now I found the other day that rt.carb drips gas if pets. not shut Whats up?Thank you all Happy trails.G.A. The Corbin backrest fits into a square tube that's part of the seat pan, so the answer is probably no. You might want to look for something like a Russell, however. They're really comfy and Tina loved the one we had on our RS. I'm not sure if they made them for the later bikes, but I know they made them for the twin shock airheads. You'll need to find a used one, though, I believe Russell is out of business.

I'd bet you've got a float that's going south on the right carb. After a while, they stop floating and allow the float bowl to overflow.

THANKS MUCH MrB. I,ll check ebay.I don,t know Didn,t start till after 7500mile sevice 3weeks ago,they said part of service to check carbs,3 days later was 1st drip deal rt,only. Have filters above carbs too.Have Appt.28th,to take bike back to dealer that did service.Happy Trails GA.
