/5 push rod tube seals

Just how big a job is it to change the push rod tube seals on a /5? Will I have to pull the barrels off? Any tips/suggestions? Thanks.

Some say this can be done in a couple of hours. I don't work that fast! If it were me, I would buy Oak Okleshen's Top End manual. Mine was $25 a few years ago. Send him an email at askoak at aol dot com.

I've done it with and without pulling the barrels, but it's not too hard to pull the barrels.

With Oak's Top End manual and this pictorial (http://www.pbase.com/dqmohan/prtseals), it's not too bad.
