Just wanted to share with you what happened to me yesterday:

I was sitting at my computer ordering a Utopia backrest for my '02 K1200LT "standard", when I heard a knock on the door. By the time I had gotten downstairs, noone was there but there was a little brown box with a UPS label. I had was not expecting a package (I know the folks at Utopia are good but not that good):) When I opened the box there was two Garmin RINO 120 GPS units with built in FRS and GMRS radios (in a waterproof housing). I was more than a little concerned as I had not ordered these GPS's. I found a letter inside that read "Congratulation on being chosen a First Prize winner in the BMW Motorad USA Ride the World Sweepstakes provided by BMW Motorcycles, etc......... You have won a set of two Garmin RINO 120's". :bliss

I can only say THANK YOU BMW. I plan on installing one unit to my LT and giving the other to a friend for the same. This will add so much to the enjoyment of our rides.

:clap :clap :clap

That is way cool. :clap
I entered some BMW contest a few weeks ago ... got a little Swiss Army Knife with "BMW Motorcycles" on it but I didn't win any GPS unit, let alone two of 'em.
Well, congrats, Scotti. I'm one of those people who's never won a thing in his life but at least I can say now I "know" somebody who has. :)

Hey! You just said you won a little knife. :dunno

The problem is that it was sent to you in error. I actually was supposed to be the recipient. I'll PM you my address ...I'm sure you wouldn't mind clearing that little snafu up, eh?

On a similar note, Scotti...

Congrats!
