K1200LT starts hard when hot

My 2000 K1200LT starts hard when hotter than normal (riding in slow traffic on a hot day, etc.) Is this normal or is there a problem?

My K1100 starts in about 3 seconds or less hot or cold. If one of your injectors is leaking just a bit, it can drip when you shut off the engine and possibly cause a slightly flooded condition. In that case, open the throttle fully when cranking to purge the excess fuel.
Hot does it start when cold?

When cold it starts the same way you describe, 2 to 3 seconds. Thanks for the feed back. I will give it a try.
