I'm considering a headlight modulator for my 05 R1200RT. I think my bike has the Canbus electric system, but I'm not sure. How can I confirm if I do or not? :dunno

Kisan has a can bus specific modulator which has a resistor to satisfy the correct current draw and not trigger a lamp out fault.

Kisan (Nice people - have visited them in Colorado Springs) makes the modulator that I run in my 2005 R1200RT (w/ CANbus).
Works great - wouldn't be without it in heavy traffic situations.
Good Luck!

Thanks to everyone for their input. I do have the Canbus system and purchased the correct modulator for my bike. Looking forward to being seen on the roadway.
Safe riding in 09!
