If'n your schedule permits, join us for a nice ride through some of the best roads in this part of the state. Here's the proposed route:
http://snipurl.com/ction-dawg - a wee bit under 250 miles, including a long ride around the east and south edges of Lake Somerville and my favorite road, FM 1291 east from Fayetteville. We'll have to find a spot for lunch, of course :-)

Boy I hate winter when I see rides like this scheduled in March.

Blizzard warning here, over 6" of snow already, 30+ mph winds and ice storm before the snow started.

I have to retire and move south for the winters.

Guess I'll turn on the heat i nthe garage and work on my motorcycles over the weekend.

It's just not the same!

Texas weather tornadoes another ride. Saturday looks to be cool, windy, and rainy. I'm stayin' home to mount the oil cooler on my beemer :-)

We'll do this another time. In the mean time, there's a pie run to New Ulm slated for 28 March - many of the same good roads as this ride. And pie.

Any interest in doing that ride this weekend (Sat 21st)? I've been trying to put together a route for a solo ride for the weekend but am up for meeting some of you around the Houston area for something like this.

Weather kept us from doing this.

Gonna try and make this ride on April 25th. Let me know if you're interested.
