k75 backrest

Hi all....
I posted in Gear, but I probably should've posted here....

I've seen some backrests come up for sale over the last few months. does anyone know how they attach? I can't figure out where those bolts attach. Do I need to drill some holes? Currently, there's one in the MOA Classifieds.

I have a 95 k75 standard with a luggage rack.

Most backrests for early K-bikes are the Corbin ones that can only be used with a Corbin seat that has had the optional backrest hardware installed in the seat.


The other style backrest is the Reynolds rack and rest. I am not sure how they mount. Why don't you contact the guy in the fleamarket ad and ask him. He's probably a nice guy (aren't we all) and would be more than willing to help.:dunno
