Short of buying a new torque wrench(s), is there a conversion published from foot/inch pounds to metric?

What do others do?

If you are going the DIY route, I'd suggest picking up a Clymer manual. In addition to many groovy pictures they also have all the torque specs in "american" and "metric"

Scott,
Here is a Windoze based conversion program. I downloaded it and installed it about 6 months ago. Works great on Win-98 and Win-XP.
I was surprised at how often I actually use it. It has LOTS of conversion tables built in.

If you do purchase a new wrench, make sure you get the left handed mode attachment. They come in handy.:p

I found this to be the best deal in a torque wrench.
