Only if we can have one for R100RT Pre 1981, another one for R100RT post 1981, etc., etc.

They are all Airheads, and share so much in common, it does not really make any sense to break them up. Each one would get lonely, and may develop a complex at being ostracized from all the other ones. Presently, all of our Airheads have learned to play well with others. Let's keep them that way.

Too many narrowly focused forums only fragment the discussion. Although the /5 has some characteristics of it's own, it has much more in common with all the modern airheads.

It really just an email list, rather than forum and they also have several gatherings each year, one of which is in the TN/GA area. worth checking out. The list is for technical discussions/questions only rather than general chat, so be advised, but is great source of info on the /5's.

And the 5 United forum (Yahoo Group really) has heavy-handed moderation.

Don't forget the Airhead Beemers Club (ABC) and its mailing list, maybe not enough moderation! But still fun and useful.

I figure an airhead is an airhead. There are variations but they are all similar. Besides, the /5 models are going to be more and more rare. And also, how many have a /5 that don't have another airhead or other BMW?
