The first stop was Dickinson, North Dakota for the red river first annual rally. This was worth the long stretch of I 94. The club that putting this on did a great job, thanks. I got a great tower of Medora, Which is a classic western history town. The Theodore Roosevelt Nasl. Parks both north and south are very nice. The enchanted highway is a fun little thing.
The great green North, Saskatchewan. I didn’t do much hear but the Wayburn inn has the best patty melt ever. Now all other patty melts taste like crap.
Moose jaw marked the beginning of Canada highway 1 for me. One Salt mine Medicine Hat ok.
Welcome to Calgary came with hail. Calgary has a great skyline, good people, beer and long days. The High River lunatic rally was outstanding. First timer pins are the best. This club does excellent job, food @ friends.
The Banff, The Jasper, The hot springs, Ahh. I highly recommend this trip.
On to the rally, This was my first national. Wow it was really something. Well planed I can’t say a single bad thing. Everybody who made this happen Thank you, you did a great job.
Glacier Natl. Park was the first stop on the way home. This is a great place, but it really is the backpacker’s paradise, the bout tour on Many Glacier Lake was vary nice. Also going to the sun road. I had a meal in West glacier that was Buffalo, Pork, Elk, Duck, Lamb, Beef, Crawfish, Halibut.
Missoula Big Sky Brewery. I love to see different brewery. Devils tower Wyoming this was very cool. Hot spring South Dakota. The mammoth dig sight is a must see for all ages, Wind Cave is a very well do tour also.
As I road across this land I would ride on short parts of the Lewis @ Clark trail This was fun at first, but as I thought how this land has changed from then to how it made me a little sad.
I had a great time, met all wonderful people, and look forward to seeing every one aging. I hope I can return the hospitality when you come to the mid-west, Ohio.
