What do you all have planned travel wise once the weather is more predictable?
I'm looking at heading south to Charlotte and Atlanta in April then heading to Oklahoma from there. After that the Dakotas are in the works.
New HID kit was delivered so now I'll be able to see.

In the past few years I've taken several trips each summer, each for a few weeks at a time. This year I think that I'll only be attending rallies. My goals are Branson, Missouri in April and the Great Chicken Run Rally in Alabama in late Mary. Haven't thought about June, although a friend wants me to meet him Tulsa OK, but I haven't made that commitment yet. In July, there's the MOA and RA Rallies. Late July/August I am tentatively riding with my wife to a Scottish tattoo in eastern Ontario and then heading to Halifax. I say tentatively since it has been decades since she has ridden and has tepidly agreed to the ride. (The cage may replace the bike for this trip.) In September, I intend to go to the Salty Fog rally in Nova Scotia and of course the Green Mountain Rally of Vermont.
It would be nice to go to British Columbia, but I don't know if I can really fit that in with other things going on around here. Maybe next year.

Well, once the snow melts away I have plans for several three day rides to the Finger Lakes, around Lake Ontario, to the coast of Maine, to North Central Pennsylvania...all to prep for the rally in TN. Google says it's about 1200 miles from here to there, but my route looks to be more like 2700 each way. :)

If I don't retire:banghead : Some local rallies plus Tennessee and then back to finish Salty Fog Rally prep here in Nova Scotia
If I do retire:rocker : Same as above but head to Florida in October and maybe stay south for the winter or a good chunk of it. With good health and modest wealth it may be possible. Would like to learn to travel slow and have the time to do it. -Bob

I'm planning to take my new GSA on its first little trip in Mid-July. I'm heading south to Texarkana, west to Alamogordo, NM, North to the Rockies, and then back east to home (Central Illinois). About a seven day trip, 3,600-3,700 miles.

I very possibly will Holly, as well as our local club's ABC Rally in late May and of course the Loonie-Tic Rally at Trenton in August.

Here are links to this year's Branson's Blitz. It is basically a hotel rally sponsored by the Internet BMW Riders. I was able to go when they held the even in early April, but when they moved it to the last week of April I have been unable to attend because of a prior commitment. However, I've lost that job (commitment) for that weekend, so off I go.
