Krauser Bags Parts [Archive]

I have a friend with a '78 R100/7 who is looking for parts to fix his Krauser bags. The bike has a fairing that looks sort of like the old Vetter, and has well over 100,00 miles on it (one of the reasons I purchased a BMW). He'd heard there may be a company in Germany but couldn't find it. Any ideas? Thanks.

hepco-becker makes krauser repos, some parts may work, these will fit into the old racks and a direct replacement may be the less painfull of options, call bobs bmw they have the bags and my be able to source parts, (biggest improvement was replacement of the seatbelt style bag to latch with a claw type, when your saddle bag passes you at a stop sign you'll understand...

Twisted Throttle (in Rhode Island) has Krauser parts.
