Are there any recommendations for a windscreen for a tall rider. 6'5". I have a 1200 gsa and have experienced alot of wind noise. I have experimented with adjusting the windscreen with little luck. Any suggestions?

"Laminar Lip" website for some neat additions to your stock shield. I have the GSA also with the Laminar Lip extension and it works, but I am not 6'5". 83$ is the cost, or was a year ago. I tried one other brand windscreen, by Parabellum and it got broken in a fall, riding dirt. I remounted my BMW shield and ordered the LIP and its a fine answer for my riding. A lot less dollars too, than other shields at 250+...Randy

I agree with Polorbear, the Lip works, (6'4"). Use duct tape for short test runs to find the best spot, which will be at least half of it sticking over the top of the stock shield.

Thanks for the information. Does anyone have any recommendations for an after market windscreen. A friend of mine has a Cee Bailey, but he tells me that he experiences quiet a bit of wind buffetting at speeds over 70.

I have a 2007 GSA. I tried a Cee Baily W/S and was not happy with the fit or the performance. It cracked in two places in a strong wind and I just junked it. It was a POS.
I added the Touratech wind spoiler (or what ever it is called) that clips on the top of the w/s and it works quite well.
I am 6'5" and sit pretty high on the bike. I now can hear my XM radio at speeds over 80 without any issues. The wind buffeting is also decreased and I am happy with the results.
Because of the small market, not too many are jumping in on creating an aftermarket w/s for the GSA.
You will need to remove it if you are traveling on rough roads/off road.
