Well, it was nobody...that's right, not a single entrant....however, there were 76 that took a peek. Was the lack of interest due to the item offered (a helmet), that it came smack-dab during prime travel season, get togethers and the AMA and MOA rallies, or what...is unknown...so, with heavy heart, I am withdrawing the helmet, providing this update of a non-event and will regroup....thanks to those that posted :(

Boo. I would have applied, but I've got a helmet already.

byrd - dont be offended. maybe no one wanted a black helmet just now? i want a new helmet, but my head is shaped funny, so i make sure i wear them for an hour or so before i buy one. and i want a white one - i think theyre more visible. otherwise, i'd have scooped up your karmic offering and then continued the tradition...
i say wait a couple of months and re-offer it. part of what makes karma karmic is that it doesnt function with respect to our personal whim and timeline. so dont worry, youre going to get to do your good deed eventually. everything comes out in the wash, the universe makes sure of it.

I sure hope the Karma thing takes off. I am going to try another on in the Clubhouse forum.
Good on you for trying. I think you still get the Good Karma…

I agree with what Username said and he said it very well.
Byrd, the offer is what creates the karma for you.
You are blessed for the offer.

after reading some of the posts, I guess a clarification is in order:
I am not pissed, distraught, disturbed, irritated, hurt, angry, or anything else about the lack of interest in the item presented. I was only letting everyone know that because there were no entrants, there would be no prize presented and that I would look through my excess stuff to see if there is something else I want to put up. That's all.
I appreciate the kind words of all and hope to continue to participate and learn in this forum and see y'all at future rallies and rides:D
