I have a 1991 R 100GS. When I removed the wheel to clean up the brakes and do a shaft lube I noticed the inside of the wheel has an arrow pointing toward the center. I can't find a reference to this and also can't fine a corresponding arrow on the drive hub. Can anyone give me advice as to what this is and if it is important to the wheel installation.:dunno

Probably pointing to the portion of the wheel that makes it tubeless.

Is it just to tell you which way the axle goes in?:dunno

I tried to lighted the arrow with white paint. Note it's at the bottom of the wheel.

It appears to be pointing to the lug-bolt hole. There should be four arrows! :jester

I tried to think of something funny and failed....

I wonder if the wheel indexes somehow? It's pointing between those two holes.
