Howdy All,

Are there any differences between the Front brake lines on a 1983 R100RT verses a 1983 R80RT? I cannot find Spiegler Stainless Steel Brake Lines (http://www.spieglerusa.com/cfm/brakelines.cfm) for my 83 R80RT but they do offer them for an 83 R100RT (Part Number S-BM0094).

Any thoughts on the issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan

Check some of the on-line fiche for the two bikes. From what I can tell, the OEM part numbers for the brake hoses and pipes are the same. There's callout for different lengths, 425mm and 362mm.

They're the same. '85 on RTs get a slightly shorter hose.

The hoses on the R100RT drop down from the grommet in the fairing where they join the metal lines from under the tank.

If your R80 is similar, it's identical.
