...I snugged up the cover screws to try and amend this weeping and it's still lookin' like it's weeping.
I've checked all the breathers and stuff under the tank and above the engine, nothing leaking there, all gaskets good.
the cranks seal and ecerything under the plastic cover shows no sign of oil.
On close inspection it just appears that the oil is coming from between the front cover and the block on the right side.
I called MAXBMW and they told me there prolly is no gasket if it doesn't show on the fische, which it don't. Thet suggested using a high grade gasket seal.
I'm good wit dat.
That said, what happens when I pull that cover off? Will the crank fall out and the internals come flying out like a cheap watch?
Anyone done this?
