View Full Version : Where to find replica Krauser bags
Does Krauser still make new saddle bags in the style that were made for the 70s airheads? If so, who sells them? I've seen that hepco and becker make replicas but wasn't sure if that is the only source for new bags in the old style.

Check with Bob's BMW. Last I saw, they had them all, even top cases.

Now if only I could find a set of the old Krauser Starlet bags for a reasonable price. There were sometimes call City Bags. They were the same shape as the full size Krauser bags, but much thinner. They were not as robust and only hold 22 litres of stuff, but that is perfect for my smaller R45 project for around town stuff and short weekend jaunts.
Unfortunately, Krauser nor Hepco Becker seems to be making them anymore. I just need the bags, as I already have the mounts on the bike. Will just have to keep haunting Fleabay.

I have a set that are like new, but you are just too far away for shipping to make it worthwhile

Where might you be? If price is right, I just might be interested. They are pretty light and US Postal service shipping isn't all that expensive as they tend to go by weight.
