I dunno, those guys at Furnace Creek can be pretty greedy...
I explored Death Valley a lot in the spring and summer of '06 and I wouldn't mind going back earlier in the year, but my school schedule this year won't accomodate the trip. I certainly recommend it to those who have the time though:thumb

I rode home through Death Valley on my way home from AZ. in mid January, beautiful weather, 70's It was in the 80's in Phoenix. Tee shirt temps in Vas Vegas till about 9:30 PM. Alittle cool in the mornings, and the mountains, but not a cloud in the sky for the week I was out.

You guys are making me crabby. I'll be in Phoenix that week but alas, without my bike. Just a respite from the nasty Minnesota climes. Probably just as well though since I'll probably be in no condition to ride once I settle in. Spring for me will be sometime in May. I would really love to do some riding in AZ though.

You know, this thread title sounds so much like a cheap drama-comedy film with Valley Girls in the title roles. I envision "Thelma and Louise" crossed with "Romy & Michelle's HS Reunion". :brow

had to get a new tire. 110mph loaded for six hours is bad for the rubber.
