UPDATE---problem solved thanks to some pm's.
Nothing to see here.....move along.
Installing a battery in my '91 K1 that's 5+ years in storage.
Stock BMW flooded cell battery. stock battery box. stock wiring.
I install the new battery and the negative cable has an odd end on it (compared
to every other BMW I've seen) and won't quite reach the battery terminal.
What am I missing or not getting right here?
Somewhere in the dusty memory cobwebs I want to recall that there might
have been some unique bracket used on the K1 that attached to the battery
terminal, then the cable attached to that. Is this correct?
Not finding any help on various parts diagrams sources.
any input?
