View Full Version : Super Bowl Prediction
Not to be redundant, but it's in the cards for the Cards to Steel the show. :bow
Once they reached the playoffs, Zonia was in the zone.
On the other hand, Pitt's path saw them whipping and flipping the blackbirds, with the third time being the charm. Like roulette, it's time for the redbirds to take revenge by pulling down the curtain, ironically speaking
IMHO
J.K. :wow
P.S. Everybody knows that bird droppings will top de fence.

Cardinals make the Terrible mistake of dissing the Towel
TRIBUNE-REVIEW
Tuesday, January 27, 2009
The Cardinals may come back to rue the day their mascot disrespected the Terrible Towel.
At a rally yesterday in Arizona, Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon threw a Terrible Towel on the ground, and fans chanted "Burn it! Burn it!" The Cardinals' mascot, Big Red, then used the towel to wipe his arm pits.
For full account of this apostasy click here (http://pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/news/tribpm/s_609014.html)
Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda, until the Yellow Terror Towel was dissed as a media stunt. Terror Towel will become crying towel. Steel Curtain will Flip Off The Birds.

My prediction is that due to the economy, the commercials won't be as good.

Cards.
I have no respect for the Stealers. 'Specially how they "won" #5 ring. :brow
Only good thing will be all the Stealers crying towels at the end of the game. :cry

5. Lingerie Bowl consists of the host couple trying to spice up their love life at halftime;
4. they serve no name beans, burritos, and toilet paper;
3. wife constantly flicking the channel to see who's on 60 Minutes;
2. just before the game starts, the host's bookie and associates come to collect on his past debts;
1. you're stuck on the couch between Larry Craig and Rod Blagojevich.
[Thanks for most of the above to Cam Hutchinson and Canwest News]

How much did the tax payer fork over so this event can occur ?
Army General on the scene, jets flying over and 45 miles of security for a private sector event. I don't feel the economy is that bad.
Who cares.
Good game.
Good game, good food, good beer, good friends..........

War, like NFL Football and ML Baseball, are National past times. Each has their "sunk" costs and end of season spectacles. Whether Hollywood red carpets, or May Day on Red Square, it's nice watching the "stars" when they come out to play. Unlike our Afghan adventure, this Superbowl had "real" jets, and not drones loitering and littering the skies.
Finally, I enjoyed the "Boss" lighting up the sky with his half-time show. Just goes to show with this ongoing world economic meltdown, even Rockers have to keep working well into their 50s to pay for their bad habits and failed investments.
In summary, even the Rust Belt can have a shinny lining.
Great Game, even though he did use to ride a Hayabusa not so very well.

Last time I checked the STEELER have more superbowl wins than the cards have playoff appearances. Ben's a winner what more can I say?
