Handguards and Throttlemeister

I have a R1150R with a regular throttlemeister on it. I'm looking to put on 1150GS hand guards on it. Will it work, or will I have to change or modify anything?

I have the opposite problem. My 1150R has the handguards, and I need to install the throtlemeisters. If you do yours first, let us know what works.

they work fairly well , had a set on an '02 R, they are covered a bit by the ends of the handguards, but you can still operate it. I ended up switching over to the Kaoko brand with the gear shaped engaging wheel to make it easier with winter gloves however.

Kaoko works fine with 1150GS handguards.
