Ohmigod - what a lame movie.
Julie Claire snaggged a copy of Torque the other day from the video rental place. She figgured I would get a kick out of a bike based movie. She had heard an interview with one of the actors explaining how he had never ridden a bike and he went through a year of training so he could blah blah blah.
P U - what a stinker.
Ice Cube can scowl real well. The "wheelie fight scene" with the two ladies looked like a video game or something and so did several other of the scenes.
Run away.....run away.
So, what is your idea of a GOOD bike-based movie??

I have to agree with my colleague, but add the motorcycle chase scene in Mission Impossible 2 as one of the best motorcycle moments in a movie. It made having to watch 2 hours of Tom Cruise look pretty bearable.:D

I Bet Cliffy would have liked it if there were scenes of riding in the rain. He likes that sort of thing.

I thought it had to be snow.
How about Matrix II with the infamous Trinity on the Ducati. Of course there is always Easy Rider and the Wild One.

I believe there is a movie called "Faster" making the rounds in independant theaters. It is about the world superbike series and the riders competing for the title. I would like to see that in the omnimax

Also, Paycheck with Ben on a BMW? Too bad it sounds like a CB750four.

We rented it a few weeks ago and then found other things to occupy our time and returned it un-seen. I figure I gotta see that one on account of I loaned Ben me scoot.

It's not one of the greats, like No Way Out and Bourne Identity, in my opinion. But, it was good enough for me to buy the DVD.
