I am mounting a set of bar backs to my 2000 RS. I am going to need a longer front brake line (or at least it is recomended). Since I need to change the line, I will go with the SS lines.
Does anyone know how or where to order a custom line?

There are lots of places on the web and in the rags that have all colors and ect. We got ours from Bobs and had good luck as always from them

I installed Spiegler SS brake lines on my 95 R1100RSL. I also use barbacks for a short time. The standard Spiegler lines work with barbacks without any further modification.

I'm dealing with this right now - ordered a set for my R1150R direct from Spiegler. No hassles with ordering and received promptly. But after installing one of the front lines, it looked too short to me. I don't have any modifications to the bike that would have necessitated a longer line. The new line is actually not much shorter than the OEM line I removed, but I'm going to get them to make me a custom line that it is an inch or so longer.
I guess the bottom line is to measure carefully. But lots of folks out there will make lines to order.

I've also bought SS lines from Bob's, and it always involved a conversation about what sort of bars and barbacks I had installed. They've got the lengths worked out for pretty much all of the common combinations, and will custom-make them if you have something unusual.
