Ford Fuel Pump

In researching fuel pumps for the K bike, everyone says that there is a Ford pump that fits. I found the Napa pump 2P74095, but it does not cross reference to the Ford part #(or year and model). I also checked the Advance parts part # E2042, which does cross reference, but when I check it out in parts there are many pumps. Since I work in a Ford dealership....does anyone know a cross referenced part # or exactly what Yr/ model that it fits.

I seem to recall a very early IBMWR post that said it was a Pinto fuel pump....Can't remember if it was an 'exact fit' or 'did the job' while on the road. This was a long time ago so that would be the earlier K's.

Thanks for checking....I get the 4 cylinder Mustang....but I wonder what year. I tried to cross reference at Napa all 4 cyl Mustangs, but I don't get the 2P74095 pump??

I am using the US-made NAPA 2P74095 pump. Tru Flow brand. $72.81. Comes with filter sock. Has spade lugs. Large terminal is positive. 1988 FORD TAURUS GL 3.0L 182cid V6 MFI
