Can you give us an honest and simple summary without spoiling any plot twists?

Broken down former national wrestling star dealing with his own mortality and putting things right, but somehow can't change.

Mickey Rourke won a golden globe for best actor for this and should be a contender for the Oscar, powerful and real, depressing but honest.

Always liked his previous work, but I am not sure who has the worst facelift, him or Bruce Jenner.

It's not Mickey's fault. Somebody slapped him on the back during "Sin City."

Looking forward to The Wrestler but will recommend Eastwood's "Gran Torino" in the meantime. If you love Clint, you'll love Gran Torino.

Folks on this board should be very interested in Mickey Rourk. After all, he was a boxer...I think for about 9 1/2 weeks.

I've heard very good reviews of the Wrestler movie too.

I'm considering seeing that, but am afraid it will be too predictable. Is it?
