K75RT Mirror Removal

Dropped the K75 this weekend at a campground with a gravel parking area. RH mirror broke, but the housing is salvageable.

1. Will the mirror extraction technique that works on the K1100 also work on the K75?

2. If I do go ahead and buy the $150+ mirror housing listed in the parts fiche, does BMW include the mirror or do I have to buy it separately.

I'll probably do a patch job with paint to hold it over until I have time to do a proper paint job of the entire fairing.

should be the same setup for the baby RT as for its big brother.
i believe mirror is included. i'd call and ask to be sure.

Got it off with a little guidance from Perry at Perry's Motorcycles and Sidecars. It pops off the same, but the mirror wouldn't pop off without a lot of persuasion. A little Locktite superglue gel, some bondo, some sanding and the shell looks and feels pretty good.

But now I have a real problem. While I was sanding, I found the original 675 metallic. In the sunlight, it was BEAUTIFUL! So I'm thinkin' about taking it back to the original color now.
