I have a mirror that has a broken attachment. These fairing has 3 pins and the mirror has 3 attachment points that each have a little spring clip with 2. One of the clips is missing. The mirror stays on, but comes off pretty easy. Can the metal clip be replaced? Can the mirror be disassembled easily?
Doesn't someone make safety wires to retain the mirror with the bike. I seem to recall that Bob's offered tethers to keep the mirror with the bike instead of gogin bouncing down the road. Thanks...

You can spend $15 for a pair, or go to your local fishing gear shop and buy two steel leaders and accomplish the same thing for $.30.

The clips are easily replaceable. I had the same problem. I ordered spares from Max in NH along with the safety cables. The clips, #8 in the picture above, are cheap and very easy to replace.

do not spend the $ on buying someone's pre-made tethers.. what a waste! incredibly simple DIY job. use the $ you save on some really good Micro-Brew!!
