I'm planning a late Friday arrival and will need a motel. To anyone already there - what's it look like? Are there some preferred spots to stay that have space? It'd be nice to lodge somewhere where we're appreciated.:snore

If you can't find anything good in Spokane, Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene Idaho are just a 30 minute ride from the rally site, and should have plenty of empty rooms.

Just spoke with the front desk person at the Courtyard extended stay in Spokane. She asked if I was with the rally. Said all the rooms in Spokane were booked, and it was all our fault <G>!! I told her she needed to swing by the fairgrounds and see how many more rooms they would have needed! There is one hotel as of 3 pm today that had a couple of rooms left in Spokane.
If you can find a room in Post Falls or Couer d Alene, grab it!

I just booked Rodeway Inn at 901 W 1st Ave. in Spokane using All-Hotels.com. Price was $70 +tax. Staying Fri/Sat nights. Looks like Super 8 on Argonne Rd. (509-928-4888) has similarly priced rooms. Most motels/hotels were booked when I looked on-line.
