Merry Christmas fellow club members! I have seen this greeting in other threads, but wanted to give it it's own space. I trust that everyone will be with people they care about, and I pray for safety for our members who are serving us in the military. This club/forum has caused me to think, and hopefully grow, in this past year. I am thankful to be getting to know some of you, even though not always face to face.
Ride safe and Happy New Year!

How can Santa travel the world within 24 hours?
NORAD intelligence reports indicate that Santa does not experience time the way we do. His Christmas Eve trip seems to take 24 hours to us, but to Santa it might last days, weeks or even months. Santa would not want to rush the important job of delivering presents to children and spreading Christmas to everyone, so the only logical conclusion is that Santa somehow functions within his own time-space continuum.

We are laden with Dales steak chili, fresh corn bread, Pettifores, Beer and cream soda, skiing out to the yurt tonight for celebration, packing it all in on our backs...
Vermont castings heating our little yurt; she is surrounded with deep drifts of snow. The burn box filled with oak, already warm for an hour or so;
A warm glow in my heart tonight.
Merry Christmas From Dale, family to my BMW Buddies!

Even Christmas Day starts with a perusal of this forum. It's been super to learn so much from so many (and to laugh out loud more times than I can keep track of). Wonderful Holidays to all!

I also would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. My belief in the actual meaning of Christmas has made it much easier to accept that my mother stopped suffering from cancer last Sunday.

Thank you John, and Merry Christmas to you too!
My wife pointed out to me today that since my retirement last December, 2008 will be the first year of our lives together that I have been home the entire year.
It's the best present I ever had!
