The Metzler ME 33 Laser 100/90 V18 (56V) for the front wheel of my K Bike is no longer made or available from my local tire suppliers. I'm sure others have already found this out, what have you replaced yours with??? I've got a Metzler ME 88 Marathon 130/90 B17 74H on the rear now. Open to suggestions, thanks matt

Bad news, dude. The 88 isn't made any more, either; it was replaced by the 880. Just how long have you had those tires?

Have you checked with Metzeler yet?

They recommend ME330 front, ME550 rear for the K75.

I guess the ME 33 and 88's have been in the dealers stock for a while before I got them. It's not so much the brands, the question is "will a 110/80 or a 110/90 or a 110/100 fit to replace a 100/90 which seems to be a relativey difficult size to replace. The 88 on the rear still has dimples on it, so it should last a while. The wear bars are showing on the front and I expect to ride to the RA in WV in Sept. I have 84,000 on the K since new. Purchased summer of 90 from The Motorcycle Shop in Anchorage, AK. spent 5 weeks and 6,000 miles returning to the East Coast. Thanks madmatt mc

I collect m/c plates I need Belize El Salavador and Nicaragaua to COMPLETE a collection of North Americian motorcycle license plates. Anyone help me out here??? many trade plates or purchase outright.

I just recently put on am ME330, the Metzler recommended replacement for the ME33. This is the first non-ME33 ever on my K75S in over 105,000 miles. The ME330 will quicken the steering tremendously and it has a lot less self centering . At first I did not like the quickness and lack of stability but after a month or so I have gotten use to it and actually like how the bike rolls into a turn quicker. Feels like a totally different bike.

Matt,
Go here http://www.ronayers.com/tires/tiredetail.cfm?catid=46
and order the ME-880. I have the ME-880's on my K1100LT and I REALLY like the way they handle AND the long life.

They make it in your size and when your rear ME88 wears out, get the matching ME-880 rear. You will not be sorry.
