For those who've been looking for a Riders Manual but haven't had much
luck (e.g. one sold for $165 on e-bay recently), there is an option. I
have a '77 R 100S and was running out of alternatives in my search so
wrote to BMW Motorrad's Archive department and was amazed when they
sent me a full scanned copy, no charge! Great service from the
fatherland, if you ask me!
If interested, send them a similar request. I'm sure they'll look after you too. If they don't accommodate you, send me an e-mail and I'll forward a copy to you.
