Hoske tank

Hey guys, a "friend of a friend" just offered me this HUGE Hoske gas tank. It's black, w/ BMW badges and I'd guess 8+ gallons. It's got newer petcocks on it. Anyway, I don't need it (or have the $ to drop on it) but it seems like a pretty unique item so I thought I'd mention it here. I don't have pics or any other real info. I saw it, it looks pretty clean. If anyone is dying to have it, drop a line and I'll try to help out. I think he wants $1000 for it.

Oh, it has r75/5 on the inside of the tank.

Hmm. There is a "large" tank for an R75/5 for sale in the ON. Is it the same one?

I'd like one someday. But, by the time I have the $1,000 for one, it'll cost $10,000. Haha.

Nathan, no...it's just this local guy who rides an older GS. He's got the tank, a corbin cafe type seat, some krausers etc... I get the impression he needs $ more than he needs the parts. I don't think he has internet access and he told me I'm the only guy he's even offered the stuff to. I told him I'd ask around but I'm keeping a distance from any deal-making as I don't know him well etc... To me, the tank looked ready to clean, wax, install and use. The corbin (which I did want) is priced too high. He wants $500 for the Krausers. I'll call him tomorrow and tell him there's some interest and try to get some pics.
