...hope to see you on the Talemina skyway..
This is one of the finest rides available to Okies, Arkies and Texicans (or anyone willing to ride far enough to get there.)
I last rode the Parkway some 28 years ago and it is one of my all-time favorites!
From a former Okie. (and proud of it!)

Ah....
....my bad on the spelling. For punishment, I will go and travel that road and ask for forgiveness in the coming year.

Regionals; Good deal! :buds
Please chime in on the Colorado Beemers web site, www.coloradobeemers.org (http://www.coloradobeemers.org)
for questions about Top of the Rockies, 100k Ride or the Colorado Classic, and we'll see if we can't get a batch of the boys check on this site to ask about rides, and directions, etc, so some of that discussion can go on this site.
Speaking of great rides, the Rockies are obvious, but the Hill country of Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, eastern parts of OK, KS, NE are great for riding. Yep, I included NE! There are some great roads along the Missouri and Niobrara Rivers that take a back seat to no one...especially if you enjoy throwing in a few gravel and dirt roads here and there. I wouldn't mind at all having a rally at Souix Falls, or Omaha areas. Can't wait to hear about some of your favorites.

I graduated high school in Mannford :-) Spent a few years in and around Tulsa. Had the pleasure of visiting Robber's Cave and riding the Talimena a couple years ago - http://brogdensmuse.menofhonorministry.org/Bikes/Captains_Log.htm
Married an Okie and brought her to Texas. We might retire to eastern Oklaohoma. It's beautiful country.
I won't visit OK this year - heading straight for Arkansas late May.
