Colorado / UT road info wanted

Greetings,

Can anyone describe Baxter Pass Road and 25?

It runs between Naples, UT, Baxter Pass and Loma, CO.

In Utah it is rt 45 and in Colorado it is 25 and 201.

Was going to ride that a few weeks ago. Called the local BLM office and asked them about it. They nice lady said we'd be crazy to take motorcycles on it. Long, rutted, dirt/mud depending on recent rains. Didn't have a ton of time so ended up taking 139 over Douglas Pass between Loma and Rangely. I'd suggest that route and then east on 40 to Vernal. At Vernal turn north on 191 and go 44 right before Flaming Gorge Reservoir (take a tour of the dam if you have the time). At 44 go west to Manila. At Manila, take 43/414 west to Mountain View, Wyoming. You will then be on I-80 and can choose where to go from there.
