I found this online earlier and have been wasting the past... little while playing it. It's a great puzzle game, has mesmerizing music, and can be quite a challenge. I thought some people here (especially engineering nerds) who have nothing better to do tonight (like me) or tomorrow might enjoy it...

It's also nice in that it walks you through how to play in the first level or two and then sets you on your way. So far I'm on maybe level 11 or 12.

:)

Talk about needing a day job - after completing level 13 I went and looked at other players designs and found one that I thought was genius. I just wonder how long it took to construct. You can view it here (http://fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=4434671). I suggest zooming out a little before you start it ("-" icon near the upper left) - it's pretty impressive. So far I've gotten level 14 completed and am working on 15 of the 21. It's holding me up from work around the house, though. :doh

I forbid you to post stuff like this again.
I am having way too much fun.
Seriously.
I may even share this with my therapist.

LOVE IT! Thanks much, already have it in my "favorites". I need to look at others creations, but can you make tank treads with this? Also trying to find if you can make one long "chassis" and still easily attach wheels, looks like you can't, to me.

I'm not sure about tank treads. You can "free draw" the connectors, so I think the trick would be to draw many short sections (so there are a lot of joints) and then put the wheels inside. Of course, I saw this used more as a conveyor belt where the belt moved and the rest was stationary. Not sure if you could design it to make it move.
