I still have my R100/7, same year '78 and yours is exactly what mine looked like when I bought it new in February that year. Memories:). Same color and all! I still ride mine, with 330000 miles now. I wish I had time and money to come get it, as I know how good that year was for BMW. They built some of their best bikes in their history, in the 70's. Sure you should not keep it? I have others, too alongside my old /7 and its still a favorite to ride, even compared to the new ones I have. So simple and easy to care for. Happy Trails to you here. Randy/Clovis,CA.:D
