I hate to ask this question, but does anyone know if there will be a TV around to stay up on the progress of the Tour De France. I am a avid Tour groupie, eh.

You are going to a town, not a forest. I'm thinking that there may be a bar or two around for the OLN re-cap.. The "live" (delayed) stuff is on in the morning... so if that is what you desire, a motel room may be your best bet. That or bring your computer along and use the "hot zone" that is supposed to be set up.

Boy I'm glad someone asked that question since I've been wondering what the heck I'm going to do. When home, my wife and I won't miss a stage. At least I can call her to get a daily update. She's no Phil Ligget, but it better than nothing. OLN is a tough one to get in hotels. Perhaps checking on OLNTV.COM could help. Go Lance!

It should be interesting. I heard a big story on the radio today about how unlucky the number 32 has been for so many winning riders.

That's just one of the things I love about my new cable DVR. Push a single button and it'll record all the "like" programs. I still have two weeks worth of MotoGP and F1 to catch up on!

A word of warning: most big hotel/motels won't have OLN. They mostly have "spectavision" or some crap, very limited channel selection, lots of bad movies for money.
Best bets are small motels that get in under the radar with a home cable system.

One word. Tivo.

You still have time to get one before the rally :)

Tivo rocks. Got a whole bunch of stuff queued up for while we're gone.

Tivo is the solution, really. We have three in my house. And only two of us live here! One in the basement for me that can record two things at once from DSS, one in the Living Room for the Wife's stuff, and one in the bedroom that we share.

Great for sports, I no longer watch live TV.

I'm arriving Spokane early (Wed.) and will scout for best OLN site. Look me up in the camping area w/ Blue R1100RS and I'll share the info.

I had lunch today at the Ironhorse Bar and Grill in E Sprague avenue in Spokane and they show the Tour on a big screen TV and several others
See ya there!!
