Has anyone bought the 2004 R1150 Shop manual in CD ROM Format? If so, how did you like the content and the format?
I bought the one for the RT and don't put much value in owning it. Most of the sections don't have any info, it is stuff that you are supposed to let a dealer do. When I first got the CD, I thought it was maybe a faulty one, or something wrong with it, but after checking it is the real deal, although not a deal. It does tell you how to do an oil change, and some of the minor maintenance you would want to do, but not much more. I just might offer mine up in the "good karma" thread, but first I need to find a good shop manual, which the dealer says is not available. Is that true? If anyone knows of a good manual, I would sure like to hear about it. Thanks.

Chris
Do you have any experience with the Clymer manuals? It covers a lot of models, but if it is pretty thorough it might be what I am looking for. I would like to find a manual that is model specific, but maybe there isn't one available for the RT. I guess I will see if anyone else has any input, and maybe order this one when it is available. Thanks again.

Thanks for the Clymer info - they're pretty good.
Considering all oilheads are pretty similar, one manual could cover them all ... as for a Roadster specific one, good luck !
Horst.
