Jackies Hughes, the Spokane Rally Chair sends along the following:
Greetings all,
I am in desperate need of assistance. Due to some personal issues, John Petty will be unable to make the rally this year. He is chairing the Awards and Tally committee, which is vital a part of the rally and an is important benefit to both our members and our closing ceremonies.
I am asking that you all spread the word, ask family and friends, call in favors, bribe enemies, or do (almost) anything to help me find a replacement for his position.
I realize we are two weeks out, but John has agreed to guide the new chair through the functions of the job and to be available by cell phone during the rally for questions.
I will be gone until Sunday evening, but feel free to email me or call my cell phone this weekend if necessary.
