What it all means...

The Tire Wear Test Data graph shows rear tire tread depth versus kilometers, which in the case of this test, lasted 4600 kilometers or 2859 miles. Some of the footnotes indicate that the test was terminated sooner due to the tire wear limit being reached sooner.

The numerical data to the right of the graph is for rear tire wear (top) and front tire wear (bottom) and each lists:

- tread depth at start of test
- tread depth at end of test.
- percentage wear to end of test (or noted footnote)

The Tire Evaluation Test Data requires quite a bit of translation, but in a nutshell...

Performance-wise overall, the Michelin Anakee came out on top.

Economics-wise, the Continental TKC80 came out on top based on price and mileage.

Your mileage may vary depending on riding style. The rider on this test put the tires through the paces, therefore the short tire life.
