Non-stock...that's aftermarket, right? The bottom of that linked page mentions several aftermarket ignition systems.:dunno

I think you're going to have a hard time establishing reliability of one system against another. All you have to work with is anecdotal information, which will be biased towards (and against) the most popular system out there, which is probably the Dyna. Also the reliability is heavily dependent on the quality of the installation, as with most aftermarket items. So when someone tells you theirs failed, you don't really know if it just burned out because it was a POS or if it was submerged in water half the time because they did a lousy job sealing the timing cover.
Some offer only electronic triggering and some also have electronic advance. Some are ready for dual plugging. Some work with the Omega alternator and some don't. THAT stuff is what you need to decide before you choose a system, and the page did indicate that (if you knew what to read into the text). What do you want?
I'm running the Silent-Hektik on my R100R. No problems, but that doesn't really mean anything.
