Just bought a house with a garage! After twelve years of sCh-ITY living, or as the locals call us, sChITYites, I doing more and more of my own work.* Anyone in the area willing to lend a hand changing(instructing, I'll do the work) a pair of tires on my r1100rt? i don't have a mounter or any of the other do-it-yourself apparatus for this job so I'd be willing to compensate your generosity with your favorite brew http://www.bmwmoa.org/forum/images/smilies/drink.gif

Anyone else do or want to do wrenching on k or oilhead bikes I'd be interested in hearing from you as well.

PM me if you have the time. Much appreciated!

* I started with a pair of barely functional'80 mopeds both 49cc and got those running. Then acquired a pair of honda c70's and learned a bit more to get them on the road. I do my valve TSyncing and fluids. Even lube splines on the my K bike a while back. All without a garage.http://www.bmwmoa.org/forum/images/smilies/laughing-smiley-016.gif Ever looked through gravel for your dropped parts? http://www.bmwmoa.org/forum/images/smilies/headscratch.gif

I'm tearing down a k100rs at the moment as well with the intent of replacing the bike's piston rings and whatever else I find wrong along the way.

Now I'm in tool heaven.
