This was my first time going to a rally as a vendor, so most of my pics are from the vendor area. I towed a trailer full of apparel so there was no riding in it for me this weekend. On the up side, I got to bring my little buddy 'Charlie' along. I sure did enjoy having him with me. I think he liked it too.

When you work in a vendor booth you sure do meet a lot of people. This is where you could find me and Charlie all weekend long.

In the evening Charlie and I would hang out with some friends, drink beverages and watch the campfire...good times!

Then we would get up the next day and do it all over again.

Finally, just before the awards ceremony there was the traditional anvil shoot. You can't see the small group of cruisers that passed by just as the anvil was launched. Fortunatly it didn't make them crash but I'm pretty certain it made their hearts skip a beat or two.

There was a little less beverage drinking on my part Saturday night. I was tuckered out from another long day of wheelin and dealin, so I hit the sack pretty early. Sunday I woke up as the sun rose above the horizon. I stood and watched the line of bikes as they made there way out of the fairgrounds for their journey home.

Cool video of the anvil blast, Kevin! I was hunkered down in the Lion's Den with Vince's dog and didn't see either one. But I've seen it before. I'll have my pix posted on Smugmug shortly.

It'll be a while before I can post my pics. But, I did notice that I have the same cameras as Buzz and Mar. Unfortunately, one I dropped and broke, and the other got run over.

Was this the rally in Potosi, Missouri? If so, we rode right past on our trip through Missouri on Saturday afternoon and right before we saw the grounds I saw all these BMWs driving around and was thinking "man, the local BMW dealer is GIVING these things away."

I had completely forgotten about the rally until we saw huge group there on Saturday.

Looks like fun. Maybe next year.
