This forum, using the K12R setting, has some drop out of characters that are used for the drop-down menu options. For example, it's the font seen when you drop down "Quick Links" to look at Today's Posts or Mark Forums Read.

I thought it was just my monitor or Windows setting but now that there is another computer in the house, I notice this is a problem for that monitor. too.

I frequent a similar forum (legacygt.com) and the drop down list there seems to use a similar font but it is a clear as can be. The font here looks like it was created on an old dot matrix printer. Even the Go button on the Search option looks tacky here compared to the legacygt forum.

I use the K12R theme and all the fonts look just fine on all my PC's (right now that's about five).

I've learned to use my Snipping Tool...

There's a bit of display quality loss since I double-snipped (capture, embed together and capture all four) but you should see a significant difference in the fonts displayed.

Thanks for looking.

What version of vBulletin is this other forum using? We are on 3.6.4 which is not the current one. Due to the customizations to the site, it's not a simple matter to upgrade with every new release.

I just checked the vBulletin site, and they are close to releasing Version 3.8.0. Take a look at that version on their site to see how it compares to this forum.

VB 3.7 in May 2008, but I've notice this difference for quite a while. Or, to be specific, I've noticed how much worse the font is here and wondered why. Thanks for trying to explain it.

I wanted to put this topic to rest. The submenu font is very nice now.
