Performance Chip 85 K100 Rs

There's a performance chip on ebay for $25. that's supposed to improve HP, accel, etc. on the K.

Has anyone ever installed one?

Use your $25 to buy gas and go for a ride. There is precious little more to be had from the K motor, and a $25 chip won't do it. Your 85 already has the 'hotter' Euro cams.

I would be swayed by the most important feature: "Bright red light design." Now that would put me right over the top.

This kinda looks like that Vortex intake sheetmetal thing that is hawked on infomercials.

And FWIW - the L-Jectronic in the early K bike is primarily analog.. there is no "chip" that can be replaced. Stuff was set with resistors and capacitors.

I just saw thing on ebay.. And once again the good voice in my head reminded me the people that invented my k75 know more about my bike than I will ever know.
