Best bet is cd-rom versons on ebay or one of the many online vendors. I travel on long trips with a small laptop so have access anywhere. Most of these allow you to print out sections for specific repairs.

I haven't seen any of the ebay versions that are newer than 2006 versions of the BMW service manual. But, for only $10 or so you get a CD manual that is valid for a large part of the bike. If you want the latest version, your dealer may have it for significantly more $$.
My hardbound Haynes version is valid thru 2006. It's useful to me because I find it more convenient than a laptop on my workbench.
Question: Has anyone been able to load the BMW CD permanently onto their hard drive so the CD is no longer necessary to access the manual?
Thanks,
John

I had seen the CDs at AS Cycles and they also had a few books but I couldn't really figure out what the books were about. It is stated as electrical and then seems to contain some maintenance etc too.
Thanks to those that replied.
