I have an interesting story. When Nobody's Fool first came out, the movie production sponsored Newman, in a Mustang GT, running in the 24 hours of Daytona, with the movie logo splashed all over the mustang. I attended that race, with my then small son. He had been to many races with me, and had watched Newman several times, still driving into his 60's. He asked me about why Nobody's Fool was sponsoring Newman's car, and I told him it was because he starred in it. My son was amazed, he didn't know Newman was an actor......we had never rented Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, or any of his other movies since my son had been born. It took me a while to convince him Newman was an actor, he knew him only as a race car driver and team owner. He has, subsequently, been educated in the entire Newman repertoire. I got such a kick out of this.......kids are great. And Newman was one of a kind.
